CompassPoint Investigations is looking for a "New
Media" Marketing Ninja to take control of, and expand, our current
online presence and social marketing efforts, then create new
opportunities for growth within our eMedia Division.
This position requires a great deal of research and writing for the web
and the ability to use social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook
and blogs for business.
Duties:
* Create and share regular blog content sourced from various Internet
news and industry websites; daily.
* Maintain and grow company social media accounts (Facebook, MySpace,
Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.); daily.
* Write industry-specific articles from supporting documents, primary
sources and interviews with experts.
* Attract readers, followers and fans through engaging content and
overwhelming creativity.
* Contact other authors about writing content and/or re-posting their
existing content onto our website.
* Prepare advertising and marketing collateral.
* Track growth, user interaction and publicity.
* Other administrative tasks that may arise.
Necessary Skills:
* Highly self-motivated and DRIVEN TO INNOVATE.
* Must have excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
* Fearless social and **professional** personal interaction.
* Extensive understanding of social media.
* Driven to learn new concepts and technical abilities.
* Familiar with, or the ability to learn, the basics of search engine
optimization.
* Digital media creation, photography and/or graphic design skills are a
MAJOR PLUS!
* Due to the nature of the business we conduct in our office, a clean
criminal history and a signed confidentiality agreement is mandatory.
The current position is part-time and includes at least 20 hours per
week. We expect that this position will become full-time within 6
months. Part-time hours can be very flexible. We prefer that hours are
worked over a 4 or 5 day work-week from our office in Gulf Breeze /
Midway. Our business hours are Monday through Friday between 8:30 and
5:30 pm. No weekends or banking holidays! Local travel in and around
Pensacola will be required.
We will consider a "work from home" situation for an exceptionally
qualified candidate.
Pay is between $8 to $12 per hour, depending upon ability, with the
potential to earn quarterly bonuses based on results after a
probationary period. Benefits include paid holidays and personal time
